Array Antennas

For small arrays of rectangular waveguide, use RECTGEN.

For small arrays used with a reflector use REFLECT

Reflector Antennas

Use REFLECT for the analyis of

single or dual symmetric reflectors
single or dual offset reflectors
with or without struts
with single or multiple feeds

Use MakeR for the synthesis of a reflector to provide shaped beam coverage.

Use MakeRF to synthesise the shape of a reflector to maximise peak gain with a given sidelobe pattern. This uses Geometrical Optics.

Use MakeRS to synthesis the shape of a single reflector to provide a specified beam shape to Azimuth and Elevation

Use AXIPO to synthesis the shape of a reflector to maximise peak gain with a given sidelobe level. This uses Physical Optics and is more accurate than MakeRF

Use REFSYN to synthesise a reflector to provide a shaped beam in one plane

Applications for which Mode Matching Programs may be Used

ASL offers a number of multi-purpose programs using Mode Matching. Each program can be used to analyse a wide variety of geometries as indicated in the table below. A large amount of validation has been carried and is discussed under each program. An optimiser OPTRTCC, is available for use with RTCC.
