Reflectors with Splashplate Feeds

A series of small reflectors with splashplate feeds for 7 to 12 GHz. These have gains of between 26 and 33 dBi (efficiencies of greater than 65%) and sidelobes less than -22 dB which is quite exceptional for such small reflectors. The one on the immediate right operates at 10 GHz and the one on the far right operates at 5 Ghz., Both have aperture diameters of 300 mm.

Shaped Gregorian Reflector for 94.5 GHz

A shaped Gregorian reflector for 94.5 GHz is shown on the right. It provides an elliptical beam with a ratio of 3:1 and sidelobes <-25 dB in Azimuth and Elevation planes.

High-speed Scanning Reflector

The reflector shown on the right operates over 8 to 18 GHz and has an offset angle of 90 degrees. This allows the reflector to scan with high speed in the Azimuth plane.
